A Button Hole Looped Banded
Firkin Wonderful combination of copper
tacks, early pine and oak woods,
Shaker constructed with
interlooped wood bands, mushroom buttoned
attachments that once held a hand formed wood
handle, Lid is missing.
Lapped over
wood band twice around the base and once around
the lid. These bands have some deterioration due
to age and use. (see photos) Bottom bands are
loose.
It measures 8
1/2 inches high....9 1/2 inches at the
base...and 8 1/2 inches at the top.

primitive child's chair. Has original rush seat
and original finish with great patina. Arched
wide panel back rest.
Chair measures 24" tall,
11" tall to seat, seat is 12" by 14".

estate find, this is another nice early
primitive child's chair. Has original woven seat
and original finish with great patina. This
chair has solid wood posts that continue from
the back legs to the the chair back - at the
chair back the rounded pieces were carved flat
to create a flatter chair for comfort. There is
wear to the woven seat with breakage. It is
still sturdy and has a nice primitive look, but
would probably would need to be redone if you
wanted to use it as a child's chair.
Chair measures 30" tall, 13" tall to seat, seat

century handmade small honey pine dome box in very good condition.
Box measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/4" by 2
1/4" at widest points.
Metal hardware is original and complete. Joints are all butted together and
reinforced with small nails. Hard to tell with all nails as they are counter
sunk, but one protruding is square cut. Base has an aged stain as exhibited
in photograph. Some light inscriptions on box hard to read. On lid it
appears to be a name Nolie Dame. Interior of box is clean.

Sap Bucket. This is a great estate
find of antique wooden sap bucket. It has an old metal barrel ring that
looks to have been an old repair. The bottom is secured with square nails
and a wooden ring but there is a break in the wood which has caused a
separation. Bucket will no longer hold liquid due to separation of wood in
bottom. Bucket measures nearly 11 inches across by 10 inches
